Congrats Alex & Bob!
What a great weekend in Northern Vermont :)

The ceremony was held at the United Church of Westford.
And the reception took place at the barn at Boyden Valley Winery.
Both great places for a wedding!

We stayed at Smuggler's Notch, and can't wait to get back up there, it was awesome.

The cute jugs are of some locally made, world famous maple syrup!

I loved the portico on the front of their church, the men looked so great there :)

And the women just rocked it on the front porch of her parent's home:

The inside of the barn was just great, I didn't know what to expect, but man when I got there I was impressed:

Firestations

I recently took a few photos of some completed projects for Bergmann. 
The subjects are local fire stations, I actually worked on the first one as well,
from schematic through construction admin.  So it was great to get to document it completed!

So my little nephew was in town for Easter! 
I just had to take some photos of him while he was here, he is just growing so fast!

Steel Magnolias Bout

Heather had a derby bout this past weekend, so I got a press pass and went to the dome with her to document it.
This time, however, I decided to try some off-camera flash at the bout.

Man, I think it worked out well :)

Kristina + Chuck :: Engaged

I had the wonderful opportunity to do an e-session with a local roller derby star and her fiance this past weekend! 
Here are a few of the images we came away with :)

She can certainly bring the pain to those that get in her way on the track, but don't let that fool you. 

We took a couple quick shots in front of their place before heading to the Parma Town Park.
The weather was all over the place, but it stopped raining mid-afternoon and we headed out.

This couple was so comfortable with each other it was great.  They just naturally looked awesome together too!

Derek + Mary :: married

What a way for us to kick off the 2011 Wedding season :)

Congrats Mary and Derek! 

Days before, the sun was shining and the temperature was rising.  But a cold front was moving in

and some crazy March weather was coming with it.  Luckily, the day turned out to be awesome!

It was a bit brisk for the ladies, but it wasn't raining (or snowing) so everyone was in a great mood.

Of course, your mood is helped along with the vibrant energy of a beautiful young couple eager to wed :)

The ceremony was held at the RPI C+CC in Troy NY.

The reception was then held at 11 North Pearl, in Downtown Albany.

Conway Entertainment provided the DJ service and just rocked it.

our rings

I have rented a macro lens for next week's wedding and thought it would

be appropriate to shoot some photos of our own rings tonight!

Now I'm more familiar with the lens and ready to rock it next week..
